Hospice Philosophy
When you select Redwood Hospice to help with end-of-life care, two decisions have already been made:
- There is an acceptance of “Quality over Quantity” in the final stage of life.
- There is a deep trust undertaken, and you have welcomed us as partners in the intimacy of these private and vulnerable end-of-life moments.
Our Mission, Vision, and Values support these resolutions by recognizing hospice care as a sacred place to say goodbye comfortably and peacefully. We reaffirm that the patient and the family are central to that purpose.
Redwood Hospice exists to provide end-of-life care in the most comprehensive and holistic way possible, serving the needs of our patients, their families, and our healthcare partners. At the center of our services is love for what we do and for the patients and families we serve.
